When you write about a topic, try to widen your focus. Instead of just focusing on the keyword, try to focus on maybe 3 or 7 ideas that are about the keyword.

Quality content brings a natural flood of traffic. Since traffic towards any website is a known factor, Google may also determine your PageRank depending on the amount of traffic your website get on average.
