People generally ask whether its possible to grow taller even after a person has passed puberty.
Yes, it is possible. We have many cases of customers in their late 20’s and 30’s and even beyond, who have grown several inches taller.
The potential to grow 2-4 inches taller is present in every person. There are parts of the body such as the spinal discs that are never fused after puberty and can be safely stretched and expanded by regular exercise.
The Spinal column contributes significantly to your height because it accounts for 35% of your total height. Your spinal column consists of 33 separate bone segments known as vertebrae held together by ligaments. Only the lowest 9 out of these 33 vertebrae are fused into two immovable bones. The other 24 vertebrae are permanently movable and can NEVER be fused.
The most important component of the spine is the cartilaginous pads called intervertebral discs.
These discs are pads of soft tissue that lie between each of the 33 vertebrae. They function as shock absorbers and provide separation between each vertebra.
On average, your total discs account for one-quarter the length of your vertebral column - 4.5 to 6 inches for most people. The thicker those discs, the longer your spinal column is and the taller you become.
Regular stretching and inversion can help increase your height by expanding the discs and lengthening your spine. Without regular exercise, the discs may lose its elasticity and become rigid, and hence will lead to height loss.
