If you have been using your Microsoft Windows computer for a while, you are probably starting to experience problems caused by registry errors. These problems include decreased performance and frequent crashes. Other symptoms of registry errors also include application errors and lockups.
Luckily, Microsoft registry fix programs allow you to scan & fix registry problems. But, why do these problems appear? And what can you do about them? Let’s see…
When you first install Windows on your computer, or you first get your computer from the shop, it will run fast, and almost never crash. But, as you start installing and uninstalling applications on your computer, the application errors and lockups will start to happen.
The Microsoft Windows installer leaves behind traces of all of the applications that you uninstall, often leading to a corrupt registry file. A corrupt registry file is probably the most common cause of windows crashes and error messages.
Because of this, most experts agree that you need to format and reinstall Windows at least once a year. However, this is unnecessary if you keep your registry in good shape by using registry fix programs to scan & fix registry problems before they become a problem.
How do you do this, you ask?
In this section I will discuss a 2 step process which will enable you to scan & fix registry problems that you currently have, and also to enable you to keep your Windows registry in tiptop shape going forward:
1. Use one of the free online registry scan utilities to scan your PC for errors. Just beware, some registry scan tools displays a large number of errors to get you to purchase their registry fix tool. Be sure to only use a registry scanner from a reputable company.
2. After you have done a registry scan, research and buy a reputable registry cleaner. You should be able to find one for a reasonable price (between $20 - $30).
The basic requirements that you need to look out for when buying a registry cleaner are:
* The registry cleaner should provide you with the ability to backup your registry before making any changes
* You should be able to do full registry scans using the Microsoft registry fix tool
* Finally, the most important feature is that it should allow you to repair all of the errors that it has found
* An additional bonus is if the registry tool provides you with the ability to schedule the scan & fix registry functionality for when you are away from the computer
