A great way to earn some extra spending cash is to find market research companies that give online surveys to fill out. How much can you make taking surveys you might ask? Well, simple math tells us that if on average a survey is worth $5 and it takes you 30 minutes to fill out, then you will make $10 an hour. Do that one-hour a day and you can make $300 per month. Or, if you don’t want to spend that much time and you only need an extra $150 per month, then just spend 30 minutes filling out one survey per day.

The great thing about my math above is that I am being conservative. It usually doesn’t take more than 10-15 minutes to complete a $5 survey. Anyway, the point is that filling out surveys online for cash is a great way to make some extra money no matter what you need it for.

You can use this extra money to help with paying rent or your mortgage, buying textbooks for school, paying tuition, paying for dates, keeping current on that car line, paying off debt, saving for a rainy day, or using it for just about anything you can think of.

Now I am not professing that filling out online surveys will make you rich. Let me be loud and clear–taking surveys will NOT make you rich. That said, it is a great way to make some extra cash without too much brain power and it is quick and easy to get setup to make money.

Also, I must say that with anything in life, you reap what you sew. In other words, if you put in the time and the effort (although there is not much effort involved in giving your honest opinion about something), you will make some money doing this. On the flip side, if you don’t ever sign up with these survey company sites, or worse, you sign up and then do nothing, we can only conclude that you will make no money.

The best thing to do is to allot a small amount of time every day, or at least chunks of time during certain times of the week, to focus solely on taking surveys. The more companies you sign up with, the more potential survey opportunities you’ll have. This way you will always have surveys to fill out during your focused survey-taking time and therefore will be most productive.
