All terrain vehicles, commonly known as ATV’s, are small vehicles designed to be used in off-road travels and recreation. Utah is known for its great heritage and wide range of outdoor recreation. There are several ideal ATV spots in Utah that offer something for everyone, which are also must-visit sites for both the locals and tourists visiting the area.

Some of the great ATV spots in Utah include the sand dunes. It is quite an experience for anyone to ride over these sand dune hills and even pull over to play in the sand. These hills also provide ideal spots for camping and picnicking. The second ATV spot is one of the world’s most popular trails known as Paiute. Riding on this trail involves traveling to mountain tops and is a beautiful experience where people are able to view historic landmarks and incredible scenery.

Another great ATV spot in Utah is Soapstone basin, which is located in Uinta and Wasatch National forests. Here, travelers are able to enjoy the camping grounds on the forest highways. Fremont Indian is a state park whose ancient inhabitants were Fremont people. This park has extensive rock formations and visitors can learn about the Fremont people’s fascinating culture. Another spot worth visiting is Fish Lake. Visitors who go to this lake enjoy camping, fishing and boat trips on this high and beautiful mountain lake. There are developed cabins and campgrounds for those willing to hire these services and for the boat riders there is a boat ramp available.

Travelers can also have a lot of fun traveling to Marysvale and Bullion Canyon to discover old-mining boomtown relics; they can enjoy panning for gold or fishing in the streams or just go hiking to the waterfalls found in that area. Utah is also known for its West desert, rugged and remote backcountry known as Rockhound, which has a variety of fossils and minerals.

Otter Creek Park is also among the great ATV spots in Utah for camping and fishing trout. Skyline Drive is a dirt road ideal for 4×4s and ATVs since it is not only rugged but it is also a trail that follows the mountaintop to the state’s center leading through great fishing, camping and hiking areas. Palisade Park is a State park located on the east side of Stirling town where visitors enjoy golfing, camping and fishing as they enjoy the mountain scenery.
